Roadtrip to Utah: Day One.

So today has been a VERY long day filled with stiff legs/backs, and lots of sleep. We started our long drive to Utah this morning at six am, and now after twelve hours of driving we are in Ogallala, Nebraska. What a boring day today has been, I can't wait to just be the Utah already and done with all of this driving...at least tomorrow we only have an eight hour drive, which isn't too bad. Well I'm off to bed now, even though I have gotten massive amounts of sleep already today! I will be putting up a roadtrip playlist within the next few days too. Night.

Adventureland

I crave adventure, new soil between my feet, and new paths to walk down. I've always wanted to travel all throughout Europe, and now for some reason I want to more than ever. I just want to take me, a backpack, and my two feet and just go anywhere and everywhere. Hopefully, someday I will be able to do this. Seeing the different cultures, customs, landmarks, and art just sounds so amazing! I can't wait to see the world.

Buckets Of Rain- Bob Dylan

Movie Day Monday.

Today I have decided to just have a lazy day and watch movies, much needed after a crazy weekend. The first movie of the day is Little Shop Of Horrors! One I have not watched in what feels like forever, and I love it. Maybe I will just continue with the musical theme and find another one to watch next.

This Friday I leave for a week long trip to Utah. I'm sure it will be a lot of fun, however there are some certain people I am going to miss very, very much.

When I get back though at least I will only have about two weeks until I get to go to Lollapalooza! I'm so excited, I can't wait, and after a long, hard decision process I finally figured out my Lolla schedule. I have all the bands I want to see, but in between those shows I'm sure I will walk around and catch some of the bands I haven't heard of. Hopefully I find some new music, one of my favorite hobbies! http://2009.lollapalooza.com/50280/schedule/2009/08/07

This weeks journey's.

Today has been a pretty good week. As usual, I've been busy with going out and such, but one thing I haven't been doing much of lately is working. I hardly work anymore which sucks. I only work two days a week which is nothing! My paychecks are horrible, I need to get a second job or something because I can't last on making fifty dollar paychecks a week.

Anyways, this week consisted of what has now become pretty much my weekly routine--hanging out with Kim, Kyle, and Ryan, going swimming and on walks, hanging out at Kyle's and sleeping/watching movies, endless sleepovers, games of fugitive, and this week a trip to Chicago. Chicago ended up being a lot of fun! Kim, Kyle, Ryan, Callum, and I all headed to the city at two and got there around three thirty. Once we arrived we headed straight to Millenium park, there we went to The Bean, took pictures, and listened to some of the local music playing next to the park. We then took a small break then headed to the Taste Of Chicago. I love festivals and seeing all sorts of different people, and the thing I've come to start doing now, checking out peoples different fashions. I find myself getting different inspirations from the people around me with new styles I want to take and try. The Taste was fun but REALLY expensive. We headed back to Millenium park again, and this time we all took a nap in the big area of grass next to The Bean, it was so relaxing I widh I could do that every day! So all in all Chicago was quite a success, and I can't wait to go back already.

This weekend should be fun as well the Crystal Lake Lakeside festival is going on which is always fun, and then fireworks is a must too! I can't wait for my campout either, should be lots of fun! Anyways, until another day, toodles.

The Winner Is- DeVotchKa

Life In The Fast Lane.

Lately, that's how my life has been. I find myself constantly doing something and never really having a moment to just relax, the strange thing is I don't mind that at all. I'm sitting here right now wishing I was doing something, haha. Well tomorrow will be a busy day since mine and Rachel's graduation party is then. Today we cooked and prepared all the stuff we can, hopefully the turnout and such will be good, I'm kind of nervous!

I have come to realize...

That the three ways to my heart are through cake, orange juice, and the Harry Potter movies. An odd combination, yes, but as of right now these are basically all I have been living off of and I don't mind it AT ALL. They all are just simply amazing!
So good!

This container of orange juice is/basically was my best friend for a good solid two-to-three days. I carried it with me everywhere including two graduation parties, haha. That probably sounds so odd, but I love it! (and yes, that is the name I gave the orange juice as well)

I have come to realize that I really need to start becoming more financially stable-- I guess you could say that? I constantly am spending my weekly paychecks on stuff I really don't need! It's time to make a budget for myself and saving up all my hard earnings.

Sometimes...

I wish there was some tall, tall grass for me to hide in.

I need to finish my screenplay, but find myself having little to no motivation... I need to find some more inspiration.
